PERFECT WHITE DRESSES FOR SUMMER

I am a huge fan of a monochromatic palette, so now that summer is here, I'm looking forward to trading in my LBD (little black dress) for an LWD (little white dress). Adding a lwd to your closet is the perfect way to get into spirit of the season! I asked my super stylish friend Temara Melek who recently studied at FIDM Fashion Institute to help me pick out some of the best white dresses for Summer 2017! Together, we've dropped our favorite white dresses below.

Summer is officially here and now is the perfect time to bring out your favorite white dresses! It’s a go-to staple in your wardrobe and though, wearing white in summer is nothing new, doesn’t mean it can’t be revamped and improved this year. The sun is out and events are happening! Our fashion should be full of lighter colors especially white to beat the heat while still looking on-trend and fashionable, and there are so many different ways to dress up or dress down a simple LWD. Perfect for all of your fun and sunny activities like weddings, showers, BBQ’s, or fun weekend getaways… A lightweight maxi dress with sandals or sneakers is perfect for day trips or going to a backyard barbecue. For a more daring and formal look, opt for lace or silk with some pumps. In my opinion, investing in classic pieces goes a long way as they never go out of style. White is a crisp and classic color anyone can pull off and many celebrities are a great example of that - from Audrey Hepburn and Marilyn Monroe to Angelina Jolie and Gwyneth Paltrow. Some of their hottest and most iconic looks were stunning white dresses, take inspiration from them if you’re wanting to add a twist to your next all-white party ensemble!
